Paean is a semi-literate Warriors roleplaying site with an emphasis on depth of character and effective plotting, set in a new territory with the four original Clans. It was orignially created in September 2016, and has experienced many different iterations. Paean once featured three tribes-- who may or may not return-- and a whole lot of worldbuilding; it is our hope that its newest form delivers in terms of quality!

JUNE 1-16 Nearly all HR spaces have been filled, although some may be reopened due to inactivity. Several roleplays have begun-- plot 001 is now getting into gear. The second moderator spot remains open, and Sonorous is now Paean's principal theme.

☆he/him ☆24 moons/2 years [break][break] Sootymask has a moderately thick-furred pelt, namesake sooty markings dusting his entire body in multi-coloured layers. A dark gray mask frames slate-blue eyes, with a splash of freckles crossing the bridge of his muzzle. Similar patterns appear across his back and tail, fading out into a light gray. [break][break] An optimistic and playful warrior, Sootymask is often known for playing tricks and pranks on his friends and fellow clanmates. Those who know him, though, know he has a good heart and is just looking for a bit of fun. Alongside this, he can be quite fickle, often forgetting to appear for previously made plans, or even a hunting patrol he was just assigned to. Sooty is quite easy to get along with, often carrying a conversation all by himself without much thought about the feelings of his conversational partner. He may come off as a bit flirtatious sometimes, but almost never means to be this way. [break][break]
A fluffy tom, Antbounce's prefix came from his brown coat colouring, which can resemble that of a common ant. Light and dark markings cross his pelt, many taking on the shape of dots, starts, or arrows. Patches of darker brown top the lighter brown base coat, further overlayed by russet markings along his extremities. Each pair of paws takes on a different colour, the front ones being russet and the back appearing pale brown. Light brown dots frame lilac eyes, which sandwich a russet marking along his muzzle.[break][break]
Antbounce is a very optimistic tom, always bringing a smile to others' faces or lifting up a conversation. He can be very playful at times, but knows to be serious if the situation calls for it. Gaining the nickname 'Antsy' for his name along with his personality, Ant wears it with pride and usually mentions it when meeting others for the first time.
