Paean is a semi-literate Warriors roleplaying site with an emphasis on depth of character and effective plotting, set in a new territory with the four original Clans. It was orignially created in September 2016, and has experienced many different iterations. Paean once featured three tribes-- who may or may not return-- and a whole lot of worldbuilding; it is our hope that its newest form delivers in terms of quality!

MAY 21-27 There's been a surge of members, now, and about eight high positions are left. Kaleb has ascended to the moderator position-- kudos!
JUNE 1-16 Nearly all HR spaces have been filled, although some may be reopened due to inactivity. Several roleplays have begun-- plot 001 is now getting into gear. The second moderator spot remains open, and Sonorous is now Paean's principal theme.
A fluffy tom, Antbounce's prefix came from his brown coat colouring, which can resemble that of a common ant. Light and dark markings cross his pelt, many taking on the shape of dots, starts, or arrows. Patches of darker brown top the lighter brown base coat, further overlayed by russet markings along his extremities. Each pair of paws takes on a different colour, the front ones being russet and the back appearing pale brown. Light brown dots frame lilac eyes, which sandwich a russet marking along his muzzle.[break][break]
Antbounce is a very optimistic tom, always bringing a smile to others' faces or lifting up a conversation. He can be very playful at times, but knows to be serious if the situation calls for it. Along with this, he has a natural charisma, able to quickly gain the friendship of his clanmates, and even those outside of his birth clan. He can be quite reckless at times, sometimes due to a lapse in judgement or simply ignoring the consequences. Going along with this, he can be quite aloof at times, leading him to underestimate the amount of danger in a situation. He tends to take criticism by brushing it off with a joke, rarely taking it to heart and changing. Gaining the nickname 'Antsy' for his name along with the more playful aspects of his personality, Ant wears it with pride and usually mentions it when meeting others for the first time.[break][break]
Ant had a fairly uneventful kithood, being the only child born to [NPC/OPEN] and [NPC/OPEN] He was well liked, combining the right amount of mischief and obedience when an apprentice to gain the approval of both his mentor and his peers. This doesn't mean he didn't get into trouble, though. During his early apprenticeship, he was often known to go out onto the territory without anyone to defend him. This was seen as unwarranted recklessness, only strengthened by the heightened tensions between the Clans. Despite this, he shaped up to be an excellent warrior, his skills in hunting outpacing those in fighting. Along with a larger portion of the WindClanners, Antbounce accepted the influx of kittypets, seeing them as a welcome addition to swell their ranks once more.
