Paean is a semi-literate Warriors roleplaying site with an emphasis on depth of character and effective plotting, set in a new territory with the four original Clans. It was orignially created in September 2016, and has experienced many different iterations. Paean once featured three tribes-- who may or may not return-- and a whole lot of worldbuilding; it is our hope that its newest form delivers in terms of quality!

MAY 21-27 There's been a surge of members, now, and about eight high positions are left. Kaleb has ascended to the moderator position-- kudos!
JUNE 1-16 Nearly all HR spaces have been filled, although some may be reopened due to inactivity. Several roleplays have begun-- plot 001 is now getting into gear. The second moderator spot remains open, and Sonorous is now Paean's principal theme.

Cottonstar had gotten her name for a reason. shes on the average range regarding size, having the average build and muscles. she has the typical "riverclan chub" when really its just her fluffy, paper white fur. she has blue eyes yet remains with good hearing, being mixed with other breeds and having other eye colors in her genes, blue was just the outcome. she has abnormally long claws and a long tail, both thing helps her with fishing though. she may look like a cute "cotton ball" but she is very fit, and could tear your eye out within seconds. her fur is very long, being so long that during winter months when it grows thicker it drags on the ground.
while her name is cottonstar, it's only relating to her appearance, she by no means has a soft personality. I can assure you she is in no way soft. like any leader she is independent, but it goes beyond her leadership as shes always been like that. she doesn't like other cats for help, no matter how grave she may need the help, and rather solve it out on her own, and is determined to get it done. if you give her help she will snap at you, and possibly cut you off. but sometimes working on her own is in her favor, her quick brain is perfect at problem-solving and thinking of new ideas, plans, and concepts to better her clan. her intelligence is high but she doesn't express it most of the time, most of her words to others are sarcastic or analytical. she usually doesn't think before she speaks, speaking from her heart instead of her brain and having a hard time admitting she's wrong or seeing others ideas.
she does have some good things about her, too, is that in private or in her own clan where she is comfortable she can be very soft. she is better when one on one, becoming much more genuine, more caring, and even softer. her jokes become lighter and seems like a new cat. but when trying to put on a face for her clan shes much colder. she does this because she feels a need to constantly prove herself to the other leaders because if her sense of insecurity. after all, who wouldn't feel a bit nervous when leading a bunch of cats? she cares about every cat in her clan. she checks up on the kits from time to time, as well with the elders. she goes on patrols with the warriors from dawn until dusk and chats with her medicine cats. she visits her clans graves so she can learn from her mistakes.when cottonstar thinks she's right there's no other way around it. she is stubborn and hard headed and you cant change her mind. this may lead to future wars possibly because when she's angry and thinks she's right, she says and does things that shell regret in the future. but she does try to keep her clam most of the time, she isn't hot-headed and knows what to say and when to say it, and things that shouldn't be said, but sometimes her mouth is bigger than her brain.

growing up cottonstar was an outsider. she was born to a loner mother who bordered the clans for the longest time. she had her kits at an old age, finding it harder and harder to care for her giving up cotton to the closest clan in reach, which was riverclan. so, she grew up in riverclan all of her life, being old enough to remember the relationship she had with her mother, and having to accept at a young age that she was gone now. she didn't have that many friends, finding it hard to make them. she was more of a loner, but never because she was forced to, she was just extremely independent and spent most of her time training to prove herself to her new home, she was worth enough. so when she was made a warrior, she was finally put at ease. shes a workaholic, putting her clan above EVERYTHING else, sometimes even her own family or love interest. so when she was made a deputy, she was ecstatic, and even more so when leader.
