Paean is a semi-literate Warriors roleplaying site with an emphasis on depth of character and effective plotting, set in a new territory with the four original Clans. It was orignially created in September 2016, and has experienced many different iterations. Paean once featured three tribes-- who may or may not return-- and a whole lot of worldbuilding; it is our hope that its newest form delivers in terms of quality!

MAY 21-27 There's been a surge of members, now, and about eight high positions are left. Kaleb has ascended to the moderator position-- kudos!
JUNE 1-16 Nearly all HR spaces have been filled, although some may be reopened due to inactivity. Several roleplays have begun-- plot 001 is now getting into gear. The second moderator spot remains open, and Sonorous is now Paean's principal theme.

Selfish | Rude | Flirtatious
Birchpelt doesn't care for anyone for herself, and some members of her clan. She is very much so a selfish cat, caring about saving her own pelt over anything else. That being said, she still follows the warrior code, even if she doesn't want to. She is mostly in it for her own gain, her only weaknesses her physical ones. Birch is missing her left eye and her left leg. She lost her leg in a battle while she was a rogue in the Two-leg place, and then she was hit by a monster, having her leg amputated by a Two-leg vet before she was released back into a family, where she escaped. Her time as a rogue is what made Birch into the cat she is today. It taught her that when it came down to the very bottom of the barrel, the only cat you had was yourself. It taught her to be independent. And it taught her how to survive without anyone to help her at all. These core values are what makes Birchpelt, Birch.[break][break]
Birch is a creamy colored cat, with coffee colored markings. Her one good eye is a russet red, and the other would be a very pretty icy blue if it was still there. Her fur is about a medium-long length, though she keeps it well groomed and free of debris at all time. Her left eye, or where it would be, is covered in a large patch of soft pink scar tissue, an example of what happens outside of clan territory and on the Thunderpaths of the Two-leg place. Her back left leg is amputated at the end of the thigh. Her fur coveres most of the scar, but if you somehow manage to get under the stub leg, a pink patch of scar tissue lies there.
Currently, Birch is pregnant, ready to give birth in one moon.
