Brichpelt had moved to the far back corner of the den, settling on a soft bed of mosses and damp leaves. It wasn't quite like the kittypet bed that she had found in an alleyway in the Two-leg place, but it'd do. Her belly was swollen much larger than usual. To most cats, it'd look like she might have been grabbing an extra shrew from the fresh-kill pile, but she knew it was something else entirely. She was going to have kits soon. Occasionally she'd feel them wriggle in her belly, and it was then that she usually went to rest. The she-cat had yet to reveal to anyone that she was expecting, however, it would be hard to hide it much longer. Her belly fur was beginning to shed, and she had a much larger appetite.
